The upland area of England is the location of the Peak District National Park, which is the first national park in the United Kingdom, established in 1951. Most of the park can be found in Derbyshire but some parts of it can also be found in Cheshire, Staffordshire, Greater Manchester and Yorkshire. Bridleways is also popular among visitors who want to go mountain biking and horse riding.
